General Cargo

(approx. 325 ships each year)

Traditionally, timber has been a major commodity from Archangelsk, Onega, the Baltic States and the United Kingdom. We have decades of experience with this sector, and SSA has contacts with every link in the timber chain. An average vessel transports 3500 m3 of planed pine, sterling board or logs. The timber is above all transported to Beverwijk, Moerdijk and Delfzijl.

Dry bulk in the form of cattle feed is often a back office activity for SSA. The cargo, delivered from Europe and the US, is often transported from the Amsterdam terminals of OBA and IGMA to the Baltic States, by coaster.
